Avalon Dogpatch was one of my major multifamily residential projects while at Pyatok. This 326-unit development was a joint venture between Pyatok, Dan Solomon and Kennerly Architecture & Planning, each of which designed one of the three main buildings facing Indiana Street. The Pyatok building is a long, linear design with recessed, terra cotta colored bays and balconies. Individual entry stoops and gates provide semi-public interweaving along the sidewalk, enhancing the pedestrian and resident experiences and providing "eyes on the street."
