El Cerrito Mayfair was one of my major multifamily residential projects while at Lowney Architecture. This 156-unit, transit-oriented modular development was among the first of the built projects envisioned by the San Pablo Avenue Specific Plan of the City of the El Cerrito, which aims to bring up to 1,900 new residential units to the City. Located next to the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station, the track-facing side of the building features a visually-kinetic metal art panel installation by Andre Caradec at S|U|M. FactoryOS was the modular builder, and transported the mods via highway from their main factory in nearby Vallejo, CA.
